I have to admit, I’m suffering a bit from PVD (post vacation depression). Thankfully, the sun is FINALLY shining in the great Pacific Northwest which definitely aids in the recovery process. I thought I’d share some photos of our week in Eastern Washington – we stayed at our condo in Roslyn, WA and had a few day trips from there. One of my favorite days included a trip to Wenatchee for a 20-mile ride on the nicely paved Apple Capital Recreation Loop along the Wenatchee River, followed by a stop in Leavenworth for our reward – a beer and brat at our favorite casual dining spot – the Munchen Haus! I highly recommend both the trail and the food… and can’t wait to repeat the trip soon.

Have bikes, will travel:
Patiently waiting for lunch at Munchen Haus after a toasty ride (almost 90 degrees when we finished):
Ahhh… FOOD! Can you tell I love sauerkraut?
A different vacation adventure, at one of our favorite bars that shall remain nameless, as I’m sure the health inspector would disapprove, but we were highly amused:
Another favorite spot, at the nearby Inn at Suncadia, overlooking the 9th and 18th holes, enjoying a beer from one of our favorite local brewers, Iron Horse Brewery:
